I have a tnt riva 64mb vid. card w/ tv-out. I believe I got it to work with this computer before, not sure when my parents bought this cpu. It just be plug and play right?? I installed the card and drivers. installed an rca a/v cable to the tv for the card and I get nothing. it will show a black and white fuzzy screen a second when I detect other devices, via advanced video setting/ right clicking desktop. What would be trouble shooting steps to go through

 

with newer cards you can do "force TV detection"

try that.

It's an older card. I bought it awhile ago. force tv detection?? I'm using the disk/driver that came with it.

I got it to work. I downloaded a diff. driver online. Now how the hell do I record what's on the computer to vhs?? I connected the tvout to the vcr input and rca cables from the rca ports/ output on the vcr and I just get a blue screen

 

That should work, you may just have the TV set to the wrong channel or video mode. Try going through them and see if you can pick up the video.

 

set the TV to channel 3 and the VCR to Video 1.
