Computer geek needed
When I do ctrl-alt-del sometimes my cpu is running at 100%, and I don't know why. I have my bittorrent app running and firefox and thats about it, shouldn't be doing it because of that. I also turned off hard drive indexing, as that was a problem in the past. What the ---- could be doing this? I hate the fact that there's something going on that I don't know about. And I have no viruses or trojans with Norton running.

I'd guess Adware/Spyware. Download these programs and run them:
HiJackThis
Ad-Aware
Spybot - Search & Destroy
My computer locked up hardcore because of this once, ran these three programs, now run them regularly and I have no problems

What proccesses should be running in the background. My computer was running great then all of a sudden I started getting pop ups. I've ran ad aware and webroot spysweeper which is a program I bought. But I still get pop ups once in a while, but I used to ave none. Also How do I see what porgrams start when I turn on my computer. I know there is a way to disable all the ---- I don't need.
