computer fans came on
They came on today..out of no where. I was only on aim and looking at a map on crome. NOTHING else. No scan was going on or anything.
So, i dl'd hijack this and did a scan. I just need some help in figuring out what I can delete cus I have no clue wtf I'm looking at. Seems to be running well now. The fan hasn't come on and it came on like 3 times today. |

get you a temp monitor... so you know that your fans are cutting on for a reason...
http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php its what i used to use when i was rendering... it helped me monitor if the comp was going to crap on me or not... there are many others but this one is good enough |

did you try opening it up, and blowing the dust out so that it doesn't block the airflow and cause the fan to come on?

I live i the sticks right now and it is a bitch to keep a computer clean without central air.
On a somewhat related topic: Is there a place you can look up what all the processes are that HiJackThis finds? To figure out if they are friend or foe that is. |
