hahaha. I'm beginning to think I'm going to pull off my back bumper and just make a sick nasty new one with one of those things that makes downforce that isn't a wing, you know, it brings air from under the car and throws it up.

Hehe... thanks a lot for the great comments guys The car is coming along very nicely... the front should be done in a couple of weeks, but i'm planning on running the entire NDRA 2005 season next year with it. Should be a hell of a time! Now, to answer some questions:

ssl2k: Yea, that roller cart is badass... it rolls soooo smooth, you can give it a light push, and it'll roll all the way across the shop... haha. But its nice, you just jack it up and put it on stands when you don't want it going anwhere.

Jung4g: I'm sure it could do a wheelie in reverse... i will not be the first to try it however.

Cray: Maybe next year on the lift-off body haha!

Dr. Boost: Yea, its wide... 6.5 feet wide actually, but it needs to be. It is only about 1/2 an inch wider than the MB Products "Race" front end though... so its not tooo bad. As for how much it costs, to custom make one like this, expect about $3000... then you have to pay for the part, whcih would be right around $600 for the fiberglass, and about $1200-1400 for the CF version.

ShortA: Thank... defiantely not trying to half-*** this deal.. heh. Yea, i do take a bit of time to do certain things, but i do have a deadline... race #1 in Pheonix

91'ls-vtec: The front is hanging low, but when the car is sitting at ride height, the lower edge of that bumper will be 3" off the ground per the rules. The slicks definately will help keep it up off the ground We're also going to be building some custom side-skirts, and a new rear bumper. The sideskirts will be about 2" off the ground when the car is sitting at race-height.

Kyle: The resin being used is Polyester resin on the front end on the car... when the mold is made, the mold will be built using Epoxy resin... the final part will also be epoxy resin. This front end pictured isn't going to be the actual front end used (ya know, it only has about 4 gallons of Bondo, and a bunch of chicken wire and metal supports everywhere in it... haha!). By the way Kyle, are you calling this "rice" or something? Do you not think that every bit of this front end has a reason for being there? Believe me, the front end does not look like this just cause 'i' want it to... there is a reason for everything that is being done here.. from the bump in the hood, to the extended front bumper, to the added overall length, to the added width...

I like this guy, he posts quality, not quantity...

Good luck with the project, and if you want to get rid of that prototype end when you finish molding the new lightweight version, let me know , it'd be good for my daily driver

You definitely don't need to explain yourself, your car is badass. Wasn't this the car with the AWIC sticking out of the front bumper? Crazy crazy car and good luck with it.
