F1 drivers are also pulling 5gs or so of lateral force, those cars are no joke... im not sure anything but a superbike is faster around a road coarse and to me, that takes some serious skill to drive. Not that rally does not (because of the whole sideways factor) but the speed and cornering ability is just not there.

Going fast speeds on snow across a mountain would seem to put me on edge more than driving fast on a road with very sticky tires and numerous other technologies to keep me going where I intend to go. Oh, and no risk of going off the side of a mountain or into a tree.

Now, I realize they both have open wheels and cockpits and are shiny, but if you look closely there is a difference. Maybe later we can all get together and play "One of theses cars is not like the other"
