Default Code 4

Guys help, 92 civic sedan with a d15b vtec, runinng P28 ecu... would this code also cause the idle to jump up n down??

If the bus goes over 50mph and then reduces speed under 50mph it will explode.
Make sure u jump the bridge

if your referring to error code its your crank position sensor

it _shouldn't_, it's used for cranking purposes only.

check your IACV and FITV if you have one.

Heres the manual for trouble shooting, (this is obd0) but its pretty much still the same. 90% of the time when I have a code 4/8/9 I usually end up replacing the distributor. I always suggest clearing the code first, and making sure all the pins for the distributor connector are nice and tight.

Will this cause idle problems? ehh, I dont think so. I'd fix the check engine light first then start trouble shooting your idle problem. Its possible the fit valve needs to be adjusted or your having a iacv going out.
