clutch lines?

anyone know of a place to get a good aftermarket clutch line? the hardline on my car is bent to ---- and looks like poop. been looking for some buy all I can find are the short ones that mate to the hardline... I want one that replaces the hardline all the way from the clutch cylinder.

take the old one off, straighten it as much as possible, measure, look for the closest without going shorter from vatozone

dammit... I'm too lazy for all that... rather buy one pre-bent or some steelbraided ones... even then I don't know who even makes steel braided ones.

buying one pre-bent would be a HUGE box for some cars.

I'd rather bend and flare my own fresh stainless hard line. It's not hard to do, but you have to go slow and be neat. I used the stuff for turbo lines before and it works great. Reuse the fittings, remember to slide them on before you flare the ends.

yup, i was about to say this.(OP lacks motivation though) single flares will work if you get a good quality line but it's hit and miss with sealing

OP lacks motivation? Have you looked at one of your aborted projects recently?

a total of one in 1 year, wow.
by the way murdoc worded that ----, it didn't sound like he wanted to make the line, but buy one and be done with it

Murdizzle, what car is it for?

I've made them in the past for hondas that consisted of 5 ft of stainless, with M10x1.0 fittings on the ends. I've been told by my hose supplier that in theory it isn't as good as a hardline, because the stainless line has a tad of flex, which might effect the engagement. I know people have done the clutch line and full brake lines with good results, but I haven't done it because of that.

If you want stainless, I can do it though.
