D16A1 15%
D16Y8 15%

We nudged the numbers up a bit on the Y8 since we had typo'ed it in the poll category.

I called the supplier today, and gave them our percentages, they will give us pricing and quantities tomorrow morning. We'll keep you guys posted.

Re: Tuner Toys to offer pistons, need HMT's advice on what to offer...

those a6 pistons should go right in to the z6 right? also, i would assume the compression in a z6 would be slightly higher than in an a6. do you know if any of that is true. if they will work and not have a really high compression ratio then i would buy some of them. i want to run somwhere abuot 15psi daily and maybe up to 20 at the track. any ideas?

Re: Tuner Toys to offer pistons, need HMT's advice on what to offer...

We decided to not go with our previously decided supplier. We were going to buy in to Race Engineering, but the pricing just wasn't there. For example, our price on the D16A1 (ZC) piston was going to be $440, including rings. That just didn't leave enough margin there for us to make money, and still offer you guys a decent price.

We have decided to offer the SRP line of pistons instead. SRP has a much higher buy-in level, but we decided we wanted to be able to offer a well know product at a decent price for you guys. SRP has allowed us to do that.

We'll post up another thread with the entire SRP offerings, and a promotion discount for HMT members only.
