Re: clemency for "tookie" williams
The Hmong guy got an unfair trial? You mean the one that went out in the woods and shot all the hunters? So my signature should be "I have nightmares of hunting while Hmong people are around". That would sum up all you hmongs, just as you've summed up all white people (yes, white people that didn't give a murderer a fair trial?)
You and murderers. Maybe you should be a dirtbag criminal defense attorney so you can protect all the "hero" murderers from the white manz system. :P

I say the trial was unfair because normaly high profile trials are relocated in order to preserve some of the jury from the media. It was obvious the media already made this man out to be guilty before the trial even got under way. And yes, he got an all white jury from the mid west, what do you think is going to happen?
Is he guilty for killing those hunters? No doubt about it, its unfortunate for those family members.
Was it provoked by racial tension? No doubt about it. Its very possible that he felt there was a real iminent threat, so in his mind he did what he had to do to survive.
thats just what i think.
Stealth, it seems to me that you have made an attempt to make this a racial thing. I have not. I think you read into my sig more than what was meant to be there. I am more than my culture as you should know. Your personal attacks on me or "us Hmongs" isn't fly ---- to me.
For the record, none of my posts brings up the fact of racism, YOU brought it out. what gives??
i'm done with this thread...

i see both sides throwing racist ----. Sometimes i swear people use racial slur to other race when they do something wrong when they know they really just want to say the word.
but i agree that ****** killed people and doesn't deserve ----. Another thing I hate is a person that has done killing don't matter if its one person or million think everything fine after finding god or made a change AFTER they are in jail. Be that way before the murders mother ****** why you got to change after your being sentence to life?
He deserves to die just let every other murder

There is one, or maybe a couple, of serial rapists. Waitresses at the downtown clubs/bars are targeted. The attacks don't make the news.
Welcome to ashEVILle, top ten place to retire/live/raise a family for over a decade now, and all-american city. Our real estate prices are up 450% over the last 15 years, and the city fills up with stupid people who don't know how to drive every summer/fall. Someone drop the bomb, please.

But they live right next to me and I see them any day, how do I know they won't snap at any minute and kill me? Therefore "in my mind" they are an imment threat.
Same logic used to kill a bunch of hunters. Hope I don't get a black jury
