Si for the no thought choice. Those ------- SE-R's have a ghetto rear suspension. Yeah the SE-R is torque but that engine is useless. If it was a SE-R classic then I'd say go for the Nissan but I'm still take the honda since I'm not a big Nissan fwd fan.

I had a 2000 si, and I now have a 2000 Sentra SE. The civic was fun, but the sentra has all blacked out windows and it's a 5 speed cruiser. I like the low profile of the Sentra vs. the civic. I think I read that the SER engine wasn't as stout as they made it seem or some ---- like that. SER or Civic, weez goin with the classic SI.

honestly i've driven a gsr, Si, and a rsx-s and i gotta say i was most impressed with the Si. Yes the Gsr has nice torque, and yeah the type s is ------- amazing, but the Si seems more un-refined and it's a D series at heart with some maad vtec action yo.

I would take the ser spec v, less likely to get stolen, and I like the wheels, and the trq. out put, and the limited slip, and the seats, I just like the spec v's better.

gsr is kinda weak stock if you ask me, never drivin a si.. the nissans are kinda fugly and i heard there engines cant take much if you plan to do anything to it.. honda has resale value.. and theft value whatever i never drivin either... the civics do have bogus seats

Go with the Si, but judging by all you rpost you are just a kid trying to figure out what to do with life. You can't go wrong with an si b16. Sure some people will say they are heacy pigs, when compared to say an 88 std hatch, but for a somewhat refined economy "sports" car is a great deal. I always wanted one, and I'm sure I will have one one day.

The celica, I test drove one a GT-S, it was ok, it felt pretty fast for what it was and all, but I still see 90% of the drivers are girls. Then they came out with the riced out version, and that just killed them for me.

Nissans are aight, but that particular SE-R the lastest style 20042005 to me looks retarded ugly, and it just not as fast as the name makes it out to be.

I like the 90's SE-R with the NA SR20. Looked cool an stilla small/sporty car. The newer ones just look odd to me.

If you are going to be on a budget, like must of us are, go with the Honda, it's cheaper.

the 99-00 is a fun car to drive. Probably because of the super short gearing. If i had to choose between the gsr/si/rsx-s. I'd get the rsx-s. But since your asking for gsr/si/ghey celica. I'd take the gsr :y

I have a 96 gsR with a catback exhaust, an aem intake, a skunk 2 intake manifold, and a pct ( civic type R ) ecu, and my best friend has a '03 sentra seR with a nismo intake, nismo header, nismo exhaust, nismo short shifter, and every damn time we race from a dig we are dead even through third, but go from a 40 mph roll, and my mad tyte jdm 8500 rpm vtak kicks his ass by about 1 car length, they are equally matched cars, just depends on what you like....

Keep in mind his car is a pig and those nismo parts are ass. If you can get it at the dealership then it's bunk cause you know they wouldn't toss that ---- on there knowing it's gonna add alot more horsepower to jeopardize the engine. Just shiny parts with a Nismo badge on it. I can just imagine how much he paid just to have the nismo name on it intake or the headers or whatever else he got ripped on. Some off the SE-R Vspec's came with Brembo 4 piston caliper but you need them so slow that bloated 4dr down. Plus I hate that they call it a SE-R and it's a damn 4dr. The original SE-R and models after that weren't 4dr but 2dr coupes.

I skipped all replies and even though a nissan ser as more hp than a civic SI a civic SI will out performed and has more potential than a nissan ser even if you keep the civic N/A.

I've driven a stock SI and a stock SER and the only difference was the nissan add better top end, but the si has quicker acceleration, and pulls harder, plus if you plus if you upgrade the si head and ecu you can rev as high as you want to
