so far i spend $1346.46 exactly.
today i will be getting a Type S BOV for $150, making the grand total to $1496.46 and all i need is piping/downpipe.

It is all over HMT, people building their kits and showing how much money they wasted in it.
My first time realizing a turbo kit can cost below $3000 was seeing Jeffs B16A 1 and 2 setup, YEARS AGO.
Well my initial goal was $1500 or less, but that seems to be out the door, so now i am trying to keep is as far below $2000 as i can. So far i estimate a final cost of $1696.46 (extra $200 for piping and labour for Downpipe)and remember i am using all NEW PARTS. And i dont see why that is not something GOOD TO SHARE.

^^ information that would have been useful at the TOP of the thread. 
And im not hatin, its just annoying. people are like, "i spent $2000 on this and #1200 on this", its not just you, dont worry. haha I'm tyrin to keep a budget too. so far I got a T3 turbo, oil lines, fmic, dsm injectors, dsm bov, chipped ecu, custom wiring harness, gauges and ricey pilar 
and im just under $1000 spent. All i need is my mani and I think Im gonna be ready for an install day

ok well when the project is completed i will list everything and the cost. Your kit is almost complete and u have below $1000, your are in better shape than me in saving money.
I chipped my own ECU, and got my DSM injectors from U-Pull-IT almost 2 years ago for about $15....so i didn't add that to the cost...but i will in the final list.

yeah, but you got like a band new turbo didnt you? looks new to me 
but hopefully i can keep my ---- under $1500, looks that way, cuz my mani is gonna be $250 and the muffler show only wants like $80 for the DP. BUT my engine rebuild, thats another story...srp pistons, eagle rods, crower camshaft, springs retainers, head studs...i think ima take out a loan on that :P
