I'm slowely learning about imports, from my HMT NW buds. But this Guy in my class at college says ---- hondas. and chevy been at it for only 2 years with tuners and they got a 7 second car, and hondas been at it for how many years. I said bs.

oh yah. 4 sheezy. i like chevs 2 but 7 sec bullshit. they run 14.9 stock 170hp

chevy did make a 7 sec drag car. it a cavalier.. which well its really not.. its more like. its fiberglass with cavalier stickers and a rwd engine (and they claim its the fastest fwd.. imagine that)

but chevy did pay for the bill to make this car. and they did it solely to say 'we have the fastest sport compact' which is more like.. a funny car.. well it is.. its not a sport compact, its not even a fwd. but when you have a company that sets out to spend a ---- ton of money on a car, then you are going to end up with a 7 sec. car.

all the other places, like honda, mitsu, etc. have not done that, it is all private owners. it is not fair to compare a company car that they use unlimited money on to my car on the street that i bought for 4000.. it just dont work.

i dont hate chevy, but i dont like their methods, nor do i like that they make these cars and they ---- them all up. like the cobalt, its not bad looking (looks like civic headlights, and grill and bumper) but a 200 hp engine and it only runs 15.3 in the 1/4 mile... im sure when bbka passed 200hp he was going faster than 15.3 i know i have, and i might have like a 160ish.. (by the butt dyno.. but thats just a stupid guess anyway)

I was at Walmart and I overheard this guy saying Tombstone was the best frozen pizza. I kicked him in the balls and explained how Dijorno is clearly a higher quality product. Then I posted about it on the internet.

i dont hate on chevy. there corvette is a beast I like those cars. But im not feeling the cobalt though. :-\

the cobalt sucks the ss only makes 205hp and it is supercharged so chevy made a huge mess up with the cobalt.my gramps who is a huge chevy guy even says the cobalt is a ----- car and digiorno OWNS all pizza

First off who gives a ---- what other people think. The reason GM is going so fast is cause they threw $100,000,000,000,000 at teams so of course if you got an unlimited bank roll your going to go fast. Honda basically does not sponsor race teams so over the year Honda's have been going fast through grassroots efforts.

GM owned the sport compact circuit last year in the PRO FWD class, Obviously GM spent big bucks on this program and that is why they won. Their are no Jap manufactors (i.e Honda/mitsu/Nissan) that are sponsering the sport compact circuit like GM and Mopar. Gm had alot of R&D in that Ecotec 2.2l engine, not only is it the fastest 4 cylinder in the 1/4 mile its also the fastest land speed record car as well. I think next year is gonna be a bit different, I heard Saturn pulled the plug on Kubo, and their dropping 1 other car as well.

As far as the car? the cobalt and cavilars both look like ass IMO. And even though the stock blocks can take 7-800whp before sleeving I still wouldnt sport any GM product unless it was a vette or truck.

ecotec = badass engine = GM wants it to be the "next SBC"

ecotec in everything, cars, small trucks, ext

the colbat is decent looking except the spoiler and the fact that it sits pretty high. i like the wheels, interior, and gauges.

the cobalt is what it is, a peppy 4 cylinder car. its not a race car and its not meant to be... so get off its nuts for not runing 12s stock...
