Chevy Cobalt
I'm slowely learning about imports, from my HMT NW buds. But this Guy in my class at college says ---- hondas. and chevy been at it for only 2 years with tuners and they got a 7 second car, and hondas been at it for how many years. I said bs.

chevy did make a 7 sec drag car. it a cavalier.. which well its really not.. its more like. its fiberglass with cavalier stickers and a rwd engine (and they claim its the fastest fwd.. imagine that)
but chevy did pay for the bill to make this car. and they did it solely to say 'we have the fastest sport compact' which is more like.. a funny car.. well it is.. its not a sport compact, its not even a fwd. but when you have a company that sets out to spend a ---- ton of money on a car, then you are going to end up with a 7 sec. car.
all the other places, like honda, mitsu, etc. have not done that, it is all private owners. it is not fair to compare a company car that they use unlimited money on to my car on the street that i bought for 4000.. it just dont work.
i dont hate chevy, but i dont like their methods, nor do i like that they make these cars and they ---- them all up. like the cobalt, its not bad looking (looks like civic headlights, and grill and bumper) but a 200 hp engine and it only runs 15.3 in the 1/4 mile... im sure when bbka passed 200hp he was going faster than 15.3 i know i have, and i might have like a 160ish.. (by the butt dyno.. but thats just a stupid guess anyway)

yeah i saw my first cobalt for the first time yesterday, i was behind it.... can you say neon
