I'm definately a friend of ferrings. I guess u got a fair deal for a standard? I personally think 1900 is a bit much, for a starter bike you could have purchased a much cheaper standard for half that price. But enjoy the toy.

I actually had the gear (HJC Sy-Max helmet, ICON tiMAX riding jacket) before I even bought the bike.

And yes, I know I will at least drop the bike sometime this season, so I've been extremely careful. I'm signing up for the MSF class this semester, it's only $60 AND they give you a beater ass bike to ride!

looks really clean, if i were you though i'd take off the upper fairing and make it totally naked like an sv. it'll look tons better i swear, and yes getting a bike like that is a good plan.
i bought my first bike about a year and a half ago and dropped it once, now about a month ago i upgraded to the new pimpness 8) '04 kawasaki zx6r 636 has 112 horsepower at the rear tire and runs the quarter in 10.5 seconds, get outta my way ;D bikes suck though in that they take away all your respect for your turboed car because they're just so damn fast right outta the box. ah well i'm not complaining:)

LOL that's exactly what I'm doing! I've already ordered a dual-round headlight from a Buell XB9S, and a pair of clip-ons to lower the bars quite a bit. It's gonna be total cafe racer/streetfighter style. Oh yeah, I'm building a high-mount dual exhaust for it too.
