Well after my 2 week "vacation" i figured that it was time to get my build done, get the car on a dyno and be done with it.
April 12-22nd i will be on Pre-Deployment Leave and i want to get it done during that time frame. so for that il be in SW Wa.

Picked up the crank from the machine shop, its polished etc now. painted my VC white drunk and bored2 weekends ago when i was home.
Only thing i am waiting on now is lower gasket set, oil pump,water pump and measuring everything to order bearings.
does ANYONE work or know someone that works at honda so mabey i could get a employee discount or something for my water and oil pump and gasket kit? I know, im a cheap ass.

Let me know if someone does, i need to get this build done so hopefully i can put another 400+whp car back on the street with a hmt sticker on it.


i put my type r VC on my buddys gsr, and took his black one and stripped it then painted it. heres some pics

SOme might ask why, honostly, just wanted it to be different. no real reason, was drinking PBR and had an idea so i drove to shucks and got paint.

Dyno this weekend if all goes well... Its all together though... The plan is to tune it Friday night on the street, then onto teh dyno saturday afternoon. Check the build thread there are pics of her all done (except for the upper radiator hose and axles...

id rather just order head gasket and full gasket kit for a gsr, not a b16.
the block is gsr, head is type r. SO il get a gsr waster and oil pump.

you will have the wrong intake manifold gasket...

water pump im pretty damn sure is the same (ill check later) and the oil pump is 100% the same...

Oil pump differences between later LS/B16/GSR/ITR is in the spring/spacer assembly.

well thats why i said im getting a gsr lower gasket kit. gsr water pump,gsr oil pump, then getting a type r gasket kit for the head.

btw, james should be done with my topmount combo soooon.

what size turbo are you going to be running, and how much hp are you looking to get outta that. isnt sleaving from GE like 1200 or something?

Well my goals are 400 whp + in my crx, kind of a weekend warrior type deal.
I have a GT3076R .82 ar hotside BB . You can see it in the pics.
THe block was around 950 shipped back to me to have GE HD sleeves put in with boring and hone and cleaning.
I went through camp1320 to get it done, they were the cheapest and i got a little deal through them.
and yes , it is 81.5mm , i wanted to keep the sleeves thick so if anything happened i could allways bore it a little more.
