best part is the price!

mind if i ask how much whp you are making and also how much you paid for the clutch setup ??

i havn't dynoed my car yet, but my guess is somewhere in the low 200whp range. i got it from 88turbocrx (mike) about a year ago. I think i paid something like... 240-250 shipped.

The pressure plate on the puck ones are a bit soft, but they take the abuse well...If you get a organic disk clutch from him you will get another pressure plate...maybe dual diaphram
Cause he told me you can get a 225lb/ft and a 300 lb.ft Clutch kit that has a organic sprung disk..I guess the 225 lb.ft has the same p.plate as the puck's and the 300 one that grabs harder so that the organic disk can hold the power down.
I just ordered one for a friend of mine ...

I was making 300ish whp on a stock disc.. its all in the pressure plate. The ACT XT pressure plate with a stock disc is pretty damn good.

im running a dual diaphram on a 6 puck sprung... overkill i know but at least she wont slip and its not that hard to drive, the 3 puck unsprung i had with a regular pp was awful to drive

2x the tq of the single diaphram... double the pedal pressure also

i had a act xtss in my built mini me. thing handled 16 or 17 psi of rapings daily with no slipage.

i had a 3 punk exedy sprung sersmetallic in my b18b. i was so so on it, unfortunately, i didnt get to see how it handled boost, as my hatch was stolen....

at any rate, the gsr, will be seeing a act xt/ss

You'll never need a dual diaphram. It'll just complicate things.
