Cat in the engine bay!

You wake up and go to work in the morning and when you start your car what hapends. Sh.t! Thats what.
The cat was looking for a warm shelter over night and ended up a litle to close to the engine belt. Lucky for the owner it is not timing belt.

I hope the car is alright. That could have caused an overheating problem.

Re: Cat in the engine bay!

Damn, that sucks. Same thing happened to one of our cats. Crawled up in my dad's truck's engine at night, went to start it in the morning, and heard the cat yelp, then run out from under the car. Luckily, it was only a broken leg, but an expensive one at that. Here's a picture of the $1000 gimp kitty:

Too bad it got hit by a car like a month later. later,

Cats own me too...we have a little family of strays running around and they are all cute as hell. I have to honk my horn once in a while to make sure that they are clear from the car. RIP little buddy :'(

Re: Cat in the engine bay!

I did not posted this because I hate cats and i like the fact she is ded, I posted this to see who else had the same problem. I did not take the picture with a decent dig. can but with my mobile.
I work in the Skoda service and usualy when I come to work I say hy to ewery one I the service. And this mechanic is looking at me and sais " Check out the cat under the car". I could not belive it so I took the pictures. I uploaded 3 pictures because most of the people could not recognize what it was.
It took some time for them ti take the car out. It got tageld up prety bad.
At least now you will know what is making strange sounds under the hood in the cold winter morning.
