---- I am sick of calling or emailing these people the same day or the day after they made a thread and the car has already been sold. I have found 4 CRX's or hatches lately from $300-$700, but I was too late on all of them. >:(

There's a red one for the Chicago area that's $625 and stuck on for some time


Also a VX with a B16/GSR that is "firm" despite going from $4000 to $3000 ::)

When I was looking for my hatch, I was specifically looking for a stright bodied 88-91 Civic with enging problems for under 1k.

I had the same problem. Cars would be sold literally hours after they were listed. There were a few that I called on which were sold while I was driving to them. lol

But keep on searching. I ended up finding a 90 hatch with a perfect body/interior, clean title etc. and a blown head gasket for $500.

Just keep looking. It took me a number of months.. and I was looking multiple times a day. It was a lot of effort.

1991 CRX HF, 5-Speed, 110,000 miles, Runs Great, and it was pretty clean in and out, just minor dings or scratches.

$650 obo !!!

I love craigslist always find awesome deals on there almost had a 93 si hatch for 2K but the guy wanted to be fair I was the second person to call him but I went to test drive it and told him I'd give him a deposit but he said he had to wait for the other guy to come drive it since he called first... ::)

Anyways I am also looking at a couple rex's for dam cheap, would love to find an HF for $650

Craigslist is like a 3-6 times a day website. You've gotta see it under 2 hours after it's listed. I find that saturdays and sundays are good days to cash up because people are out doing ----. I got my 93 coupe with a bad headgasket for $550 on a Sunday. 8)

Gotta stay on top of Craigslist. I sold a 4x4 2 weeks ago, had a call 2 hours after I posted it. Had to wait 3 days for the guy to come get it but in the meantime I got 6 calls about it. When people ask for a below market price on there, that ---- goes quick.

Found this 89 HF for $350, looks pretty straight, but it doesn't come with a motor/tranny (I figure I could get d15 for next to nothing though, so im not worried about that). Well it has a motor in it, but for some reason he needs it, so he is pulling it before he sells it. He said the car is clean, but he still owes the dealer $195? So if I want the title I have to pay that off? Does that make sense to you guys? ???

Oooh and it's got a racing stripe and big fart can!

"Im selling my 89 crx HF shell rolling for only 350 needs motor and the struts are bad in the back the catch is that it needs a title very easly uptanable(sp) its a clean title you just have to pay the car off 195 dollors or close to that i have the dealer info and before sale you can call and make sure its all legit

That is called a lein (sp?) You will not own the car unless you have that released. He SAYS it is $195. Have him remove it b4 you sell it. It is only a 20min process to pay the dealer and have them issue a note saying you paid.

kinda like buying a car without a title.

Well if I get this CRX, I am going to try and get a motor/tranny in there as soon as I can, so I can use it as a daily driver (instead of my mom's stupid van). My coupe will be more of a project car. The main reason I haven't rushed to get it back together is I don't have a garage to put it in right now.
