I've had a few friends who would race without using the clutch, just slam the bitch into 2nd gear after bringing the rpms all the way up. A buddy broke a T56 (6 speed) like that twice on his LT1 powered camero.. good thing he had a warranty.

no i cant move, the car stays still and i can shift without the clucht with car on, but it wont go anywere tranny coming down this afternoon

If the speedo goes up its not the clutch, the trans has to turn to register on the speedo. Check your cv's ;)

Think about it. You've got an open differential; the wheel with the most slip gets the most power. So, if an axle is broken, it will "slip" the most and thus get all of the power while the good wheel just sits idle.

i have had a similar broblem. but my splines on the end of my axle grinded all out. it just happend while i was driving. and the thing was that they where raxles axles, and i spent a good amount of money on those shits >:(. anyway, that could be your problem :-\ |
