It's a good thing all you guys run open downpipes up there. Otherwise you might a missed it and lost the car.
As for the gun I would have scrambled too, not worth getting shot over a car.

damn Dave that sucks ***, good thing you got it back and didnt get shot. i always do things that make sure they wont drive off with my car, and im not talking kill switches although i just had a great idea for a 'kill switch'...
