So this is how it happened:

THANK GOD I FOUND MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i called cops asking for escorts, and was denied multiple times because they all claimed they either didn't have the manpower or jurisdiction.

so i got some guys together and decided to take a look myself. Two of my guys met the thieves and once it was confirmed that it was my stuff, i was given the signal to close in. the rest of the crew closes in on those guys i confront them and start calling the cops. Thieves got all jittery and froze up. Then out of the blue they bust their car in reverse, knocking one of my guys on the ground almost running him over.

eventually they got away. (my first time doing a shakedown i know it could have been handled differently and more efficiently)

found my car in their shed all taken apart. the guys were some dirty Asian crackheads with their faces looking like the surface of the moon.

cops took forever to arrive. For several hours they were stumped at how i was able to identify my stuff on craigslist without serial numbers or pictures.

neighbors thought we were undercover cops busting some guys.

Basically what's happening now is the cops are taking the car and stuff to the impound as evidence.

edit: it was in the dirty south sac in oak park. 4-5 miles away from sac state where it was stolen. the cops said i should have had an escort :1

I don't know if that was even their house. The place looked abandoned, kind of like every other house there. If it is their place, they are done for. Cops will have them by the remainder of their huevos.

now i wait and hope the cops don't loose or break anything. meanwhile I'll call the detective at the school at tell him what happened. (the same detective that suggested i ask the guy to meet me in the college police parking lot)

If anyone reading this doesn't have at least 5 hidden kill switches in their turbo'd honda at the moment, stop and put them on NOW!!! i kept laying it off and then this happened. I was very fortunate that crackheads stole it.

IF they didn't know where I lived and the car wasn't usually wherever they stole it, I wouldn't have even bothered with the cops.

I don't know if the law applies in Cali, but if someone "invades" my car and I feel "my life is in danger," I can legally use lethal force.
