at the sac state parking lot. found broken plastic moldings from my window on the ground.

just yesterday i was searching the forums for kill switch ideas... word to the wise. put that kill switch on now!!!

i'm basically screwed. only had liability insurance.

we need capital punishment for auto theft...

You ever watch that show called "Jacked" on the discovery channel about the auto theft task force in new jersey? Its funny because they bust people either driving stolen cars (that they obviously stole) or catch them in the act stealing their bait car and they are charged with "receiving stolen property" and are sent home, yet if those same people were caught walking down the street with an 8ball of coke in their pocket its a mandatory prison sentence.

The car had an alarm on it too... now i see that pulling the ecu out and carrying it with you is reasonable. I hope my 3rd gear gave them hell though. It doesn't shift unless you double clutch.

That show is a joke, they brag about the first thing the do with a new truck is butcher up the front bumper and ----. then wonder when they can never follow somwone and not be noticed.
Then they spend how much money with choppers and ---- following one car, and let the guys off like you said.


Sorry to hear about your car man. If I didnt live in BFE I'd probably not be posting about what I have done to mine. Hidden kill switches and ---- always help, but nothing is theftproof. Whatever you do, never tell anyone what you have done to your ride for antitheft.

Kinda makes me glad I live in a shitty little town full of retards who aren't smart enough to steal cars. I bet there aren't more than a dozen car thefts a year out here. I also bet out of that dozen, 10 or more were stolen with the keys in the ignition.

I drive a yugo. For real though your at sac state california state colleges are known to be easy pickings for car thefts. When I was at unlv ecu pulled,fuses pulled, steering wheel off and kill switches in place. I still have my car. If your going to live in the ---- hole known has california be prepared.

Car had an alarm if that means anything. Had different colored bumpers and fenders and it was really dirty. I guess it goes to show that ANY Honda is a likely candidate for theft. Certainly gives me a perspective on things now.

The day it was stolen i was in a hurry to get to class and put my foot down a bit. guessing someone must have heard the bov.

Search eBay, Craigslist, and keep your ear to the ground on all local ----. Something they don't need on the car will likely be sold on places like that. All you need to find is that one part they are selling and you can start tracking everything back to them.

Until you drive it to another location and someone swipes it. This happened to a guy I know here in my ---- hole town. I don't miss my Honda one bit.

Since moving to the dirty sac, I've had two hondas stolen from in front of my house. Both were recovered, and both were totaled. Maybe they will find you car still in one piece.

I installed fuel pump kill switches on my cars, but just like everyone says, if they want it they are going to take it.

ive had 1 car jacked. and several times have been broken into. ive always used the cigarette lighter for a kill switch. no cigarette lighter, no starter engagment. ive also put valet switches in for the fuel pump as well.... that sucks.. post pics of your car... since i drive around all day, i may have a good chance of spotting it out.

people that jacked you are either, russian, vietnamese, hmong, or other dirty asian decent

Your sohc isnt worth ---- on the streets so in reality you will get your car back most likely minus rims/turbo kit with dents. I have had alot of friends had their cars stolen only sohc taken was a stock d16a6 out of a stock 89 crx which was super odd. I wasnt trying to be rude but you should know better you live in a high poverty area with car thefts being a major issue. I now have a large dog that chills with me everywhere I go. If someone wants to steal my car they have a boxer/great done/pitbull mix waiting for him.

While it is in the ------- blue moon, Legacy wagons get jacked, I always pull the ECU in the Reddevil. While it may look like ----, I got $50,000 in time invested. ::) Don't want to lose that anytime soon, even if its only worth $200 scrap.

The new wagon is a bad two tone paint job right now, so its fairly safe.... but once its painted, its getting a kill switch.

And the sedan is almost always locked up....

I bought the car with the gsr wheels. guy wanted $400 for them on top of what he was selling the car for. I made it clear i didn't want the wheels so he just gave up the car with the wheels at no extra cost, they had a bunch of scratches though.

I honestly didn't think sac was THAT bad at car theft. the only time someone close to me had a car stolen was about 6 years ago. and it was my brothers chevy astro van, stolen by our crackhead neighbors. Car was recovered a few days later and the guys were caught. The man took the money they made and mailed my brother checks to pay for the damage.
