if the head was placed on concrete or uneven surfaces it can become dented and no longer be a flat surface.

putting the head on an uneven surface isnt going to do ---- unless you put your car on top of it

Ahhh ever hear of concrete studs? I think ARP makes them in there Construction division. You should see this cement slab they did with twin B18c5 heads. Oh my lord, vtec hit so hard it was worse then stepping on a crack and breaking your mother's back. :P

If you torque things down in the wrong sequence, it's common for heads to warp. |

I forgot to mention that he claimed he had the head surfaced and sat it down for a week and it 'warped again' lol.
