camo paintjob

Re: camo paintjob
I didn't realize that camo is supposed to be rice-tastic now. I thought ricer boyz were people who spent tons of money on something that doesn't do crap. Camo to me always seemed kinda ghetto or HMT-ish cause you don't have the money for a real paint job.
although some of the camo cars in this thread have like 10,000.00 camo paint jobs.
maybe it is getting ricey, but I've always liked the non-clearcoat style camo on certain cars. I'm thinking about painting my neon with flat style paint one of these days. Probably have it look just like this guy's:

Re: camo paintjob
I like the flat camo paint jobs. Definetly something that I woould think is very HMTish. I saw an eclipse done flat urban camo at NOPI nats a couple years back looked real cool. i agree with 96turboracer, the non-clearcoat style looks cool. I saw an urban camo / blue paint job were only the blue splotches were cleared. Looked kinda cool.

Re: camo paintjob
that STI looks pretty bad ***.. i would be undecided on the clear... but if you have a lot of dents and its a shitty shell i wouldnt clear it, and i'd say camo away. but just depends on what kinda car you want it to be.
