Calling all midwest peeps (MN, WI, etc area)
 

I want a meet or something before the end of the year. I know there are a few MN peeps up on the board and Im wondering who would be interested in some sort of meet either small or large, but just something to hang out for a day and shoot the ----, have some bbq and ---- like that.

I'm personally like 2hours from st.paul but that drive isn't too much at all. (in wisconsin)

anyways who is interested in something like this before it gets shitty out ?

Sounds good to me. Just make it on a weekend. Pick a date, There are a dozen people in the area or so I think. I am in St. paul. A lot of the guys from MWCRX.org, and MNforums would show up. Some of them are on here.

man, if i had the time, i would seriously consider it. coming from Michigan is a bit of a drive though. If it was in wisconsin, I might be able to make it. I'm in the U.P. right now. stupid college.

We could just find a park that is easy to get too. I can think of a lot of them, so that won't be a problem. The MOA wouldn't be that bad, they have a huge parking lot, but what do you do after you park, have a HMT shopping meet???

Definitely, let's get some more input on this and if Madison seems to be relatively in the middle of where everyone is trying to go, then so be it. Anyways I really wanna get together with some peeps and check out the cars, not a whole lot of that going down here.

The only places I know are my house to homedepot (5 mins) and back. One time I tried to go a different way home to see what I could find, but I got lost. lol

;D That is hilarious. Suppose you havn't really had a chance to get around anywhere yet. Madison wouldn't be bad, but I vote for the twin cities, I am in Morris at college, so I am already 2.5 hours west of the cities.

i vote twin cities...hell even in eden prairie...hahaha so i can just roll down the street or something...i dont feel comfortable driving an hour or two in my bucket...haha dont know if its very reliable yet

We need a leader to say THIS IS WHERE, and stick to it. I'm used to playing that role, but unless we call it at my house or homedepot, I'm not that person this time.
Try to think of what we'll have a good time doing, and call it.

I vote madison also at Warner park. I'm only like a hour away also. I went there like a month ago for a hondatech meet :P I'm desperate to see other cars!

I don't know, I said I wasn't in charge. I think I may have a local twin cities meet soon if this one doesn't go through.
I'd hate to have a meet in WI, and one of my local guys can't make it all the way out there. The whole point is to meet local people to you. Once the local crews are together and strong, I think that would be a better time to have a "midwest meet". :-\

i totally agree with steve on this one. i dont even know if my car can make it all the way out there man. we should make a mn meet and u guys can have your madison meet. then after the winter comes then goes then we will have a mid west meet at the beginning of spring.. now how does that sound guys?? ;D

We can just make it your house. That is easy enough to get to for everyone. That also makes it easy for me to work on my car this weekend without a "meet" right in the middle.
