the new pics have an extremedimensions watermark. There is no way he got "permission" from those guys. At least it's not your car anymore.

I am from Rancho Cucamonga. I mailed the guy from the bodykit company, not the ebay guy. I haven't recieved anything from this douche bag. :P (Even after the super profesh' letter.
Greddycrx- Great job, now the guy can come here and read this thread. Then we're all gonna get hate mail. rofl haha.
This isn't a super serious issue, but we all should take the oppertunity to have a little fun and tell these guys that they're Rat-bastards.
When I was 19 I worked in sales at Westcoast Spoilers, but at least I went to car shows and took my own pictures of peoples' cars. I guess you could say that all these guys just sell knockoff bodykits, steal internet pictures, and never actually manufacture anything they sell. They're just middle men in a really dirty, -----d out industry.

Rene' here...

Apparently there's a rash of this going around. This ***-wipe (sorry, that wasn't very lady-like, was it? ) stole our description WORD FOR WORD!!! If he has to steal someone else's description for his intercoolers, what does that say about his product?? I contacted Ebay and emailed him and told him to write his own ad. Here's our IC ad:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2438913139

and his

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2440150668

I also put on our last two auctions that "someone" on Ebay had stolen our description - BUYER BEWARE!

Idiot...

Sent email to him:

"Great job on writing your own descriptions. I wonder if you put that same workmanship into your intercoolers."

Should I feel bad about emailing people telling them they're full of ----? Cause I'm having fun! This is great.

That guys feedback sucks. He has just as many negatives, but 5000 less positives.

Stealthmode: Email away. They need to know what kind of ---- piles they are. Why can't you just write your own damn description?

Rene' again with an update...

Well, our so called "power seller status" got us a quick response from Ebay saying they had ended the auctions in question - um, actually, the auctions ended on their own. With no bids, might I add (did you see those krappy welds No wonder!)

Anyway, he listed ANOTHER ONE TONIGHT USING OUR DESCRIPTION AGAIN!!!!

Here's the offensive listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2440318290

Gentlemen, <insert southern drawl here> won't you help a lady in distress? I won't ask you to do anything in particular...just think of me over here wiping my tears with my hanky over what this terrible man has done...

Sobbing in my ball gown...

When worse comes to worse, my people come first. The following was sent to Mr. Douche Bag himself:

Yet another auction with another companies description. (yawn) Getting reported to ebay just for copying anothers description? I guess that's not as bad as selling generic headers for dc headers, or a taiwanese muffler for an apex one. Hell, you didn't even spray chrome spray paint on anything this time. Send the specs of your intercooler to me, and I'll write the description for you. FREE.

*All bad examples of sales were taken from his "negative feedback" customers. (insert southern drawl) "There's more where that came from, and if needed, I'll put a pop knot on his head big enough to tie up a bass boat."

<in my best Suthun Drawl>

Why thank ya, Stealthmode! What a gentleman you AR!

I don't know nuthin' bout no parts (that's Anthony's department - I take care of the bookkeeping, records, order processing, etc.), but there IS a little something on Ebay called the Vero program - developed to facilitate cooperation between eBay and rights owners protecting their intellectual property rights.
So if he's claiming another company's name on these parts, he could be in a world of trouble.

What I'm afraid of (and for these other companies whose names he's using to promote his krappy products) is that our company name will end up linked to his substandard product because people will see the identical description and think we're one in the same person. That's why I added a disclaimer in our last two IC auctions that ended saying that someone had stolen our ad and BUYER BEWARE (Ebay won't allow you to actually point to the person's ID - but it should be pretty obvious).

Geez, what a tool this guy is....and I'm bummed that Ebay is not helping us more...

Email sent :
It must be pretty hard to copy someone elses auction description to sell your junk. That must have taken you a long time. I bet you thought long and hard about what you were going to say about your crappy intercoolers. Those things look like ----. The welds look like a 5 year old made them and the pictures aren't even good enough to tell how shitty the rest of it is. You're a tool. Why don't you write your own description so you don't make anybody else look bad for selling your piece of ---- parts. Don't bring someone else down with you and your inferior parts. By the way, your ebay feedback sucks. I wouldn't buy this pile of ---- intercooler from you even if you were smart enough to write your own description. I'd hate to end up like on of the other people you ripped of by selling junk parts. You are one of the major examples of why Ebay is such ----. It's people like you that make Ebay such a loser infested junkyard swapmeet for shitbags selling garbage.

I can't believe Ebay won't do anything about it. Vero shut down one of my friends because he was selling parts too cheap. They didn't even need a reason. As long as one of the members complained they would take action. He eventually got suspended for it and hasn't been able to get it resolved. They didn't even want to hear his story. I can't beleive they won't help you.
