If we could break up America into 50 catagories, I bet we could even have a drunk drivers state. Then they can all drive with each other.

I think the law in MA is that you have to fail 2 field sobrity tests before they can breathalize u? im not sure tho. Im underage, and my carts bright yellow, so i wont drink and drive ever, i wont even have beers in my car. gets me laid sometimes tho, cuz i can always sleep over places

anyway, good luck in court. o yea, and u dont EVER wanna get stopped in NH. they're DICKS, and u lose no matter what.
boy you really hate to be aware of who did what. i know atlest 50 people off the top of my head that have not driven drunk in there lives. its called maturity NOT to drink and drive.

maturity? isn't it just respect for other people on the road?

Truth is no matter how good you think you are at handling yourself drunk, you are in an altered state of conciousness.
Now, heres your scientific lesson for the day.

Specific neurons (I will not get to into detail) in your brain begin to slow down their capability to spit chemicals back and forth between each other. In particular your motor skills are slowed while your internal (psychosis) are increased. This is why sometimes when you're drunk you can "think" seriously but when you try to speak it comes out as complete incoherent babble.

Also other neurons that control responses with muscles in your body begin to slow down making it take more time to actually fire a signal to twitch a muscle (ever been so drunk that you were slow to move? this is why).

This occurs in every human being, I don't care what bull ---- reason people give that they have a high tolerance to alcohol or what not.

The truth is EVERY human being's brain begins to suffer slowness in its neurological chemical transfers, this in turn results in slower response time and can be disasterous when mixed with any sort of device that can hurt another person.

In my personal opinion, it is a severely ethical dilemma to be a drunk driver. You are putting at risk your life, and the life of an innocent by-stander, simply because you were to lazy to get a designated driver.

Onyx may have said maturity, but how about just ------- common sense?

I am not pointing fingers; I know its how it is. But it really should not be.
The simple fact is, you drink, you drive, you lose. The government has every god damn right to bust people for it - in fact it should almost be more severe perhaps to the point that you could be accused of attempted man-slaughter.

If I walk around town brandishing my gun and aiming at people I'm pretty ------- sure that they would hit me with that if they could.

This is almost exactly the same.

Again, I'm not saying that it doesn't happen and I'm not pointing fingers.

But for ***** sake, if you don't value your own life at least value someone elses.
