Busted!!

So i leave my friends birthday party after haveing 2 shots jagger, 7 buds, 2 long islands and 2 heinekins. Im flying home on Rt.93(for you MA. people) and im crusing at 95mph. Right by a unmarked white malibu parked in the breakdown lane. COP >:( Caught up to me about 2 miles down the road. Asked if i was drinking. I said no. He told me to turn the car off and step out side cuz he smells alcohol. I go through the finger on the nose and the eyes on the pen, which i am an ace at these days. He asked why i said no to drinking and i inform him that he asked if i was drinking he did not ask if i have been drinking and he asks have you been drinking. I say that i have had a couple(look at my watch)about one and a half hours ago and im trying to get home to piss. He tells me to go back to my car. :-\ This is where the heat starts. Does he call back up or a tow truck or does he ticket me? Well after what seems to be about 5 minutes he steps out and hands me a ticket and says since i was doing 95mph in a 55mph i have to go to court on May 3 and i might loose my license fo 30 days. But on the bright side it's dwi number 2.

Im trying to buy a house and start a family and this incident has been a real eye opener and i have no plans on doing this ---- anymore. It's bad enough i like to speed ebery know and again but getting caught with alcohol is just plain gonna ---- you. Thats why its Thursday night my drinking night and im home bored as ---- on my computer.

Must be an angry drunk....only angry drunks drive fast.

I came accross a drink guy like you on the freeway once, that wanted to race me. Couldnt even stay in his damn lane.
After trying to race me a bit he tries to run me off the road. I got his plate number and dialed 911, and talked to the dispatcher while he got pulled over about 5 miles up the freeway.

*LESSON FOR THE DAY*
If you are drinking and driving, dont press your luck, drive the speed limit and dont pick fights with bigger, more sober people.

Thats not you is it?

Also i was not drunk. The list of items were consumed from 6:00-11:00pm. I was fine.I know when i cant drive. The state of NH is another story. Im a 260lb. 6'3" 28year old that has been drinking since i can remember. I dont drive drunk i have lost to many people to car accidents. That is why after almost 15years of drinking, smokin pot it's about time i settled down and face the fact that im gonna be around this place for a long time and i have to start taking better care of myself.(or so my girlfriend says) :P

That's ------- bull ---- you should have got a DUI. You may have been fine to drive ::), but the alcohol was still in your system. If you lived in my town you would have been fucked. I can't believe you even admitted to drinking earlier... lucky bastard. >:(

Once you really do get a DUI you will learn... I know this from experiance if you couldn't tell from my reply. ;)

You really shouldn't even complain about the cop if you would of done a breath test you would have been legally drunk. It's like bitchin about getting caught street racing. I'll be the first to tell you grow up and get a damn taxi or ride from someone sober. People like you make the roads unsafe.

just a piece of advice, my boss's cousin is a lawyer, if you ever get caught drinking while driving, and they ask you if you've been drinking you say no. always say no. if you say yes, they have to give you the breathalizer(sp?), if you say no, you might get away with it. you lose your license for a few months if you're over the limit, just don't admit to the fact that you were drinking

That's not true. The last time I got pulled over and I was drinking I told the cop I was drinking. He gave me the field tests, but not the Breathalyzer(SP). I passed with flying colors. ;D

From my experiences, cops don't like to be lied to. If you are straight up with them and you are cool and don't talk like a ------- retard they will generally be easy on you. Of course, there are those cops that have already decided they are going to ---- you before they even get to your car. :-\ I always try to be cool and admit to doing whatever I got pulled over for.

yo man, that sucks. obviously, u shouldnt be driving after drinking, but im sure 99% of people have, so theres no need for that lecture, lol. every one is usually mature enough to know there own limits, and when your gonna speed, at least do it on 93. smarten up, or ill have to meet up with u again and slap u around ;) lol.... o yea, i drive to norwood everyday from burlington, and there are soooo many undercover cops around lately. i just put my rex on the road 2day, and i gaurantee i get pulled over by one soon... just to bust my balls. howd those seats work out for u, anyway?

I think the law in MA is that you have to fail 2 field sobrity tests before they can breathalize u? im not sure tho. Im underage, and my carts bright yellow, so i wont drink and drive ever, i wont even have beers in my car. gets me laid sometimes tho, cuz i can always sleep over places

anyway, good luck in court. o yea, and u dont EVER wanna get stopped in NH. they're DICKS, and u lose no matter what.

boy you really hate to be aware of who did what. i know atlest 50 people off the top of my head that have not driven drunk in there lives. its called maturity NOT to drink and drive.

Chacko 03-26-2004 01:23 AM

Re:Busted!!

maturity? isn't it just respect for other people on the road?

Truth is no matter how good you think you are at handling yourself drunk, you are in an altered state of conciousness.
Now, heres your scientific lesson for the day.

Specific neurons (I will not get to into detail) in your brain begin to slow down their capability to spit chemicals back and forth between each other. In particular your motor skills are slowed while your internal (psychosis) are increased. This is why sometimes when you're drunk you can "think" seriously but when you try to speak it comes out as complete incoherent babble.

Also other neurons that control responses with muscles in your body begin to slow down making it take more time to actually fire a signal to twitch a muscle (ever been so drunk that you were slow to move? this is why).

This occurs in every human being, I don't care what bull ---- reason people give that they have a high tolerance to alcohol or what not.

The truth is EVERY human being's brain begins to suffer slowness in its neurological chemical transfers, this in turn results in slower response time and can be disasterous when mixed with any sort of device that can hurt another person.

In my personal opinion, it is a severely ethical dilemma to be a drunk driver. You are putting at risk your life, and the life of an innocent by-stander, simply because you were to lazy to get a designated driver.

Onyx may have said maturity, but how about just ------- common sense?

is that calling me immature??

i bet people can name alot more people who HAVE driven after drinking then people who have never. im just saying, thats how it is, im not saying its smart.... >:(

im saying in my area it doent happen as often as you "think" it happens. its like your saying its "ok" to do it becouse "everyone" does it. that is starting to sound like high school there...

Chacko 03-26-2004 01:27 AM

Re:Busted!!

I am not pointing fingers; I know its how it is. But it really should not be.
The simple fact is, you drink, you drive, you lose. The government has every god damn right to bust people for it - in fact it should almost be more severe perhaps to the point that you could be accused of attempted man-slaughter.

If I walk around town brandishing my gun and aiming at people I'm pretty ------- sure that they would hit me with that if they could.

This is almost exactly the same.

Again, I'm not saying that it doesn't happen and I'm not pointing fingers.

But for fucks sake, if you don't value your own life at least value someone elses.

Re:Busted!!

how am i saying its ok? im just saying it happens all too commonly. never once did i say its the right thing to do, or its cool to do. think of how many times, even at a family party, an uncle or something will drink and then drive his family home? i think its ------ stupid, and i wont do it. and also, im usually the first one to be a DD, or ill stay where i am. and i take offense to he high school comment.

Re:Busted!!

o ,and that "you drink, you drive, you lose" saying is put on message boards over the highway here in MA ;)

Chacko 03-26-2004 01:38 AM

Re:Busted!!

Heh its a pretty powerful message, in my opinion. Again dude, I wasn't pointing fingers at any one. But really, think about your actions. Sure you get away with it this time but what about the next time?

I just had a serious fucked up situation where I ended up in detox because I didn't pay attention to my prescriptions and I mixed some drugs that nearly killed me. I was in a brief comatic state (in a state of 'sleeping awake').

I won't go any further into it, but hell I never thought it would happen.

Really, think your actions through people. You can apply this to street racing, it might be fun but is the risk really worth it?

yellowcrx6 03-26-2004 01:41 AM

Re:Busted!!

yea it is... its very true....

Its funny how the people who don't deserve to be lucky and should get caught are always the ones who get off easy, consider yourself lucky.

What the hell where you thinking speeding that much especially when you knew you had been drinking. Its bad enough driving impaired under the speedlimit.

When I drink I sleep at a friends its as simple as that or I have someone sober drive me home. I'm that guy who will do it once and be .01 over the limit and get hauled off to jail.

I seriously hope your learning from all this and if not that the next one simply "ends" you.

Re:Busted!!

trust me, and i don't care if i get flamed for this, because i've since learned my lesson and hardly even drink any more, let a lone drink and drive. i've had two dui's and paid out so much money for lawyers, fines, etc., etc., not to mention the losing of the license is never good. i use to drink and drive all the time, for my first dui, i got in a head on collision, luckily no one was hurt or killed. but not long after that, i was at it again, i just wouldn't drive 'drunk' ::) well, i got a second one a couple years later when i had already started a family and my actions didn't just affect me anymore, this was my real wake up call and i actually quit drinking completely for about a year after that, now i'll drink every now and then for a special occasion, but i'll be damned if i'll even have keys in my pocket :P consider your self VERY lucky, cause if you get a dui, it can affect your life for a long time, and it's not worth it. for the money you spend on lawyer fees alone, you could take a cab across the country, think about that ;)

yea i got burned for a dwai and lost my license for a year. i get it back April 30th!!! anyway i used to drink and drive pretty much everyweekend sometimes during hte week and when i woke up in a hospital bed with a tube in my dick, a chipped tooth and like 40 stitches in my face beleive me...I WOKE THE ---- UP FOR REAL its not worth it im telling you and im only 18....its a shame

Re:Busted!!

If any of you drive in the south seattle end around Federal Way area, and Drive the back way from Federal Way to Auburn (the road that travels under Hwy 18), about midway down the road is a blue sign "In Memory of Tasha Hill"

Tasha Hill was a girl I knew back in High School. She got pregnant during HS and had a baby her Junior year. She caught up and graduated with her class (despite missing out a half year for her baby girl. The father wanted nothing to do with his kid so Tasha did her best to raise her.

Driving home one night down the very same road I before mentioned after working late at one of her many jobs. A drunk drive was speeding up the opposite lane, crossed into her lane and killed her. The dent in the retainer is still there where her car hit. From what I understand the driver wasnt that drunk, and got off with minimal jail time.

Afterwards, the father of Tasha's baby decides he suddenly wants to play daddy (He's a damn jerk) Takes the girl, and thats the last I ever heard of Tasha and her girl.

Its stories like this that make me not want to drink and drive and make me want to call you out as a dumbass, I hope all you kill is yourself, because if you end up killing a girl's mommy, and that's all that little girl has....you've taken away from a whole family
