Okay so I have sold both my computers and give you a quick explanation.. The first one was a laptop (2part) meaning it needed a screen because the laptop screen was trashed. The second was my baby, the convertible cx-2620 from gateway. I basically had to sell them in order to put a new turbo on my civic and buy a gaming computer. All that is left is $500.00 US

Somehow we will have a poll on which setup I will go with. So basically Put together everything I need for the tower, I mean everything. The most complete will be awarded a prize from me. Remember your total is $500.00 US.. If its any over, well then you have so splaining to do lucy and it better be good. Full list of upgrades from top to bottom.

The format should look like this. (this is a dumb example but you will get the point)

Remember I just need the tower and all the internals. Mouse, keyboard, etc. Is all taken care of. Unless you find something I cant live without! So on that note.. LETS GET IT ON!!

hah 500 dollars for a gaming pc? you must be on crack for a decently good video card that will play most games your going to spend at least 300 or more on. ive put together a price list for a gaming system before and it totaled out to be around 1800 dollars. search www.newegg.com :1

well its been a while since ive last looked at desktops considering all i use is laptops now, so that is a ok graphics card. what are your plans for hard drives? sata's will be your friends. a little pricey, but the effects of two with raid 0/1 make all that money well worth it. also a gig of ram may be called for since most games are becoming more cluttered than ever. also a motherboard with a 10/100/1000 lan port will be very effective. especially at lan parties or online gaming.
