From all the other threads on different car sites, it seems that the show toned him down. And the people that had meet him/been around him a bit say he was worse of camera.

Either was to die a 62 would suck, he was still young enough to find a new younger 3rd wife.

Well I really never watched the show, maybe cought a glimpse of it once. But I just remember this guy cause his wheel shop used to be across the street from my elementary school, and we would always see the hot rods parked outside, He would have the street closed once a year and host a carshow. HIs company would donate to the school on a few ocasions untill it closed in 98. oh well he did good work. maybe was a douche, but then again arent all business owners? to a certain extent?

He was a good business man but in my opinion if you are loosing a handful of employees to your competitor you need to rethink your tactics. I will say some nice cars came out of his shop and his wheels were nice. RIP.

meh, mikey hams up being an idiot, and if it wasnt good TV, he wouldnt work there, and he'd probably be working at walmart... his son makes the money for being treated like that too... so neither of em care. (theres a reason he still stays around his dad)

I'd rather see a dad shaft his son teaching him the business instead of handing it to him in a gift bag. Shafting non related employees is a whole different thing.
