that wire out of the ecu doesn't look like something an OEM would put in there. That looks after market. Get to the ecu, I bet you'll find a sticker!!

BTW. Man you are missing WAY more then some bumpers, the IC, and door panels. cluster, headlights, stereo, HVAC, clock? (above centre vents?).

yah. thats a utec. sell it. you can get a cool grand for that pos. its just a fuel computer. like i said. sell it, and go with a safc.

utec is also a datalogger/road dyno. you can get pretty good estimates for hp and tq from it.

My car got that same wing, i have not seen any WRXs around with bodykits, and on my WRX there is some sticky double sided tape that runs where my sideskurts supose to be and my front bumper reinforcement is cut to fit an FMIC...

The Utec is not just an afc, It does more than control fuel. It's a complete engine management system, that can be tuned and upgraded. You can get anywhere from 600-800 for it on ebay. The most I've seen it go for was $759, I'm always checking because I'm trying to get something like it. Read more about the Utec before selling it, it's a nice upgrade. Most Subaru tuners do not use piggybacks like the afc they reflash or rechip ECU's to get them to do what is wanted.

It looks like it was your car and the car had the website and we can see some common things like the wing on it. I have never seen that wing on a wrx.

I want a FMIC also for mine. I was thinking about doing the same. Buying a front mount from like custom coach, and then doing custom pipes. I don't feel like spending the $1500 for an aftermarket intercooler kit. It is missing quite a few things, but nothing that would cost really that much. Ebay is your friend

trust me. you try and spend 7 houres to try and tune a utec and the end result being nothing. it was just tooo slow to be able to keep up with the subie ecu. yah chip it. or get an afc and and thats all you need. i mean ----. the stock ecu can retard or advance timing 20 degreese in 1 rpm if a knock it detected. lol.
