Usually every year my boss takes all of the employees out to breakfast, and gets us a gift and a 200.00 xmas bonus. This year for some reason was different. No breakfast, no gift.. and a $47.53 xmas bonus. wtf. He said the company was in the "red flag" which doesn't make sense because we've been extremely busy all year, and whipe out jobs pretty quick. i'm pretty upset..when you depend on that as part of your income. rather of had a jelly belly of the month club membership lol

My wife didnt get her first paycheck as we were planning on using it to buy our presents with. A little over a grand we missed. the ---- at payroll forgot to put her in the system and they couldnt write her a papercheck. The next check though should be for around $1800.... :6

Ive been at the same company for 9 years and I have never got a christmas bonus.. I dont understand how a owner can clear over 150 grand a month at just one of his stores cant dish a little love to the employees that got him there. Aw well.. I still love the place :y

Sure they are nice, but acting like you deserve a bonus is just retarded. Also assuming what you are going to receive for a bonus is not a good way to go about things.

My bonus will most likely be an extra weeks paycheck, on top of my normal weekly check so I'll be rich tomorrow. :6 The plumber I was working with today said he didn't get ---- and they aren't even having a xmas party. :l I hear of all kinds of people not getting ----. No appreciation. :3

raise hell, companys will keep giving everyone ---- until they expect bare ------- minimum. Its your side of the deal in capitalism. Your employeers want to pay you the least possible so they can make as much as possible, and you want to make as much as possible for working for them. Anymore though, companys act like they have no control over anything and don't have to pay you jack ----.

ha we normaly get a turky for thanksgiveing, but this year we got a 25$ card, and we normaly have a christmas party, with bonus but we are not doing either, but what ever, im done shoping and have 300 leftover, so that goes in the i still need a car to put all my ---- in fund :'(

Sweet, I just got a raise today. Didn't know I was getting one. And to to top that off, I also got retro-pay for it applied for the past 6 months, ended up being around an extra $200.

Our boss cut our usual $200 in half to $100...which of course makes sense ya know. After all, we did have one of the largest years in sales.

Haha, that's funny because the bids on our jobs went up 15% due to rising copper costs, but my boss bought a shitload of wire at the old prices and now that most of that is gone, prices have dropped back down quite a bit.....but the bids haven't. I think it's funny when he says things are tight. How the ---- are things tight when he's getting 15% more per job with no additional costs? :S I'm not complaining though. I got a pretty sweet xmas bonus. :y

Talk to your boss!!! Ask him why, and how you can make the company more money. ---- I sound like a small business owner, wait I am. I give out a couple hundred (cash) to each guy.
It's been a hard year to make any money, cost are going up every year, our insurance went from 5grand to 8,500 in one year.

Yeah I love how the guy that cut the bonus in half was just talking to me about spending 6 grand a year on some electronic catalogging service that we don't really need.

As for making him more money, Last week I sold my bosses extra shop Jeep in 5 minutes of listing it for $10950.

i got a ------- $25 gift certificate to ------- Fred Myer...my boss got enough to buy a new BMW and a 58" TV...he wont say how much it was, but that isn't Fred Myer money.
------- bullshit because i risk my ------- life doing ---- for the company and the owner can't kick down $100? cheap mother fucker. Hell, we had a guy die this last summer doing the same ---- i do everyday...but Fred Myer has beer. ::)

edit: oh yeah, our xmas party was held in our ------- warehouse, at lunch.
