Wrong forum to brag about something you didn't do 100% by yourself.

Ah. So everything I think/know/do was all attributable to someone else holding my hand, Mario?

There's nothing wrong with working at the family business, learning the trade in the time honored master/apprentice fashion, and then assuming the reins. However, your mother works your *** and occaisionally pimps you out on the streetcorner; you don't wear the pants at work, so you aren't in a position to brag about what you've got because it's really what your mom's got.

lol

Sounds like you have a skewed view of reality. I left home at 17, put myself through college, and made a career and life for myself. I never got help from anyone.

So yeah, there are a lot of people like me that don't have the luxury of help from parents. Just because you are fortunate enough to have this kind of help doesn't mean that everyone has the same situation. That's pretty nieve to think otherwise.

lol i left home when i was 16...my mom helped me by giving me a job...and that prob. would've never happened if i didn't give her a grand daughter...she didn't want to struggle raising my daughter so she gave me a chance to make something of my self so i can supply for my daughter...other than that i've had to do everything my self...i'm not like the rich kids around greenville, sc that are 30 years old still living at home with mom and dad and dropping 10 thousand dollars on a full-rice set up...yeah i help people install them around here but i'm never buying one lol. my parents struggled when i was growing up...my mom just hit it big with money not to long ago. she doesnt want me going through the same thing. but she still doesn't buy me everything i want and ask for.

Conspicuous consumption shows you're immature, self conscious, and greedy. It shows nothing other than that.
