I gotta be honest im not sure I understand how certain things like BET bring any races together. Its very obvious you cant be a part of a large picture if you demand to be identified seperate.

and the term african american is contradictory. why should i use a term to identify an entire race that defines them as coming from a geological place based off the color of there skin. Naomi Campbell is not an african american. shes a British citizen, Dave Matthews IS an african america as he was bron in South africa and is a US citizen now. If you want to split hares no one is truely an american by that deffinition, cause we all came from somewhere its sorta how we roll. Why the ---- cant i call them Americans, why do i have to single them out with a term based soley off the color of their skin.

Some whites still have some racism, but yes, I hear more about it from the african american community than any other. Personally, I am not racist, and trash exists in all races. Unfortunately many I label as trash (lazy, leeching off the gov, etc.) are of african decent, Though I praise those who do work for a living. I know several who honestly do not even like their own race because of the lack of motivation of others that portrays badly on them.
