Blaast Performance Problems!!
 

Hey, I know a few of you have used Blaast Performance to purchase turbo's and I was wondering if you have had any problems receiving product from them? I have a buddy that ordered a turbo from them on November 22nd and they have yet to deliver the damn thing. They told him that they filed an inquisition with the canadian post office and it is no longer their problem ::) Today while on the phone, they were rude, hung up on somebody that was calling for him and then sent him an email saying STOP CALLING ME and said I WAS GONNA fix the problem. He is generally being a prick and is basically trying to say that if my buddy files a claim with paypal or the canadian better business bureau that he will be in big trouble and need to explain himself to them..LOL what a ------- tool. He refuses to send "another" turbo and he will not issue a refund saying that he just has to wait for the post office to clear it up. I personally think it is a shitty way to do business. I know with the holidays, things could be slowed down a little bit, but damn, I have gotten stuff from CCA and WeirRacing in a very timely matter before. So anybody else ever have any problems???

i shipped a box to wot and am having a similar problem.

the product is most likely hung up in customs.

Stan bought a turbo from them that was less than good, but I'm not sure what became of it. Post it all over the internet and you're bound to get some action. ;)

Well, the person he had call for him was told on the phone that if the turbo was not recieved by tomorrow, that a refund would be issued, then he emailed my buddy and said stop calling me and you will just have to wait. So, I am already thinking, if this does not work out on a posittive note, we will have to have an HMT CALL-A-THON. I know one thing, he is not getting away with my buddies $500 :7

Funny you should mention that Chad, I was going to PM you and ask how close you were to that place. Any idea where it is at? I figure it is real easy for them to blow somebody off when they are far away, but if somebody was right up their face, it might help. I dunno, guess we will see what happens over the next couple of days.

Yea, he has a tracking number...it shows that it has been accepted by the canadian post office and that is pretty much it. It has had that status for weeks now. ------- rediculous.

this is just proof that nothing good will ever come of canada. we should just burn it down.

really it'd be a good idea to kill off all the canadians and just split it up into like 20 more US states. We could use the land with all of our overpopulation, and if you think about it. It's not like we've had a problem killing natives and stealing their land in the past.

Guys...this thing was paid for on November 22ND. Should have been here long before the holiday mailing rush even began. ----, I ordered something that was shipped on the Monday before Chirstmas and I received it before Christmas.

So far my experience with Blaast has been great.

I bought a turbo from them off EBAY that said VERY VERY small shaft play, got it and the blades hit the housing. one was chipped, and i payed extra for a boost gauge, when i got that, it was broken. and looked like it was from 1962. Also payed extra for a wastegate that was bent to ---- when i go it

How was it shipped? Global Priority? EMS? Air Mail?

Is their insurance on the shipping method? If no, was that stated or agreed upon before they shipped it out?

I always dread shipping to canada, or receiving stuff from there. It just seems like the loss/delay rate goes through the roof when you cross the border either direction.

I don't know the specifics of that Chris, I just know it left Blaast via Canadian post office?? I don't see how this thing got caught up in the holiday mail traffic rush...it was purchased on November 22nd...unless this asshat did not send it when he should of. The other thing that makes him look like more of an ass is that he kept telling my buddy.."It will be there Wednesday", then it was "It will be there on Friday" then it was "we are using Saturday delivery" WTF, why was he saying this crap when he did not even know where the ---- the turbo was?? I now the "I filed a notice, it is out of my hands, I am not giving you your money back and I am not sending you a new turbo" Complete bullshit customer service. I'm giving this guy a couple of more days and then it is call-a-thon time.

You wanna tell my friend via email that he is going to have a lot of questions to answer if he gets paypal and the better business bureau involved, yea right, who are you trying to kid?!?! Stop being an ass, put some effort into the problem "or prove that you have, as you keep saying you can" or refund his ------- money. I don't even think he wants a product from you if this is the way your going to conduct business.

I'm going through a similar situation with SmellySOHC. I sent him the package, the tracking number said it was received but he never got it. I called Canada Post and they said a trace may take up tp 2 months :o. Ask him to show you the receipt like I did to my receipient.

I hope your buddy is not in a rush :-\

i know this is probably intended as a joke, but c'mon now, lets be a bit more intelligent here... i've only ever had a problem a couple times and i fixed those problems AND i've since changed shipping companies.

lets not get into the whole canada hate fest...

Yea, I have no problem with you Canadian fella's...as a matter of fact, I have ALWAYS had good shipping from Aaron and Chad (highroller54) and they are both in Canada. I just think this guy is hiding behind the whole "it's caught in customs" deal. It may be, but I honestly don't think he sent it out when he should have. I guess he emailed my buddy with some claim numbers from both the US and Canadian post offices, but still says he is not going to replace the turbo OR do a refund till they find it. Hell, he said he did this a long time ago, but until somebody got on the phone and threatened to bring Paypal and the better business bureau into it, he provided no info, just BS. Like I said, I am aggrevated to no end with this fucker and it is not even my money.

He shipped it back and got another one, I've never had a problem with them. Shipping between borders just sucks ass if you use Canada Post or USPS.
