Well see there. There is a reason for all of this.
I know for a fact that once ---- leaves the U.S. through USPS it IS a tossup. This happened to one of my kits once and my mother in law that works for the post office enlightened me to this fact. Sending it lowest priority through USPS is not a smart move, but if it was stated in the auction, I guess it's a fucked up situation, but not a fault of Jake.
I tell all of my overseas orders that even though I send everything priority mail, I only send it once. They agree, and that's the agreement. I've had this problem once out of maybe 15 times so far. (I did replace the one, and then started making this agreement.)
Sounds like just a fucked situation. :-\

Yes a fucked up situation... If jake really did send the packages and have the receipts to back up him sending it with the weight of the products on the specific dates then there is little we can do but if he cant come up with the receipts... I dunno... People can and will push and shove... Something just smells fishy...

I like how on the packing slip when you ship out of the country there is a question like this:

What should we do if your package is lost or we cannot find the address?
1). Abandon the package
2). Smash it with a bat

Shipping overseas is risky for the seller and the buyer. If I saw receipts for the shipment I would feel all warm and cozy about Jake, but until then it still looks bad. :(

Guys, after waiting for 3months and spending my hard earned money on the turbo kit, with no postal reciepts nothing while this guy says it will be delivered, but nothing arrives, how can you stay calm? I gave you the benefit of doubt. I waited for more than 3months as it might be due to surface freight. I've never said anything nasty to you remember? I've always been well mannered in my emails to you and carefully asked you for help in determining where the parcel is. I was fair.

I felt i was pathetic then! I had to stay up late at night just to get the chance to maybe see you online! UK is quite a few hours ahead of you! Yes, my Girlfriend was getting all fed up with me brooding over the turbokit. I treated you like a friend, have i ever said anything nasty to you? All i asked is for you to check with the forwarders on the status of the shipment. week after week you say the manager went for holiday, this and that and your gf was helicoptered out to hospital etc etc and can't go to the shipper's office. Now who's telling me personal stories here? I even felt bad and really wished her well and all. But you dissapeared!

Can you deny the fact that ebay has banned you? Can you deny that paypal has banned you? Can you deny that you tried to sell the 450cc injectors and AEM cam gears in RED just at the time when i got them posted to you?

Don't give me this bullshit that you bought them or you already have them and they belong to you. How coincidental is that? Brand new set of 2 AEM camgears for 90bucks? Are you crazy? I paid more than 170dollars for that!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for alot of you that i have done business you know that im not a bad guy, tuner toys ive done business with, i did busness with a guy on here for a zex kit and that wet well, and ive done alot of business on here, As well as steve knows that i whouldnt ---- anyone, I have always BEHIND THE SENSE PMED steve and told him when i have found something fishy about when i see noobs looking like they are gonna rip someone off, But as far as steve saying its a dead issue, i stiff feel bad for what happened and that he didnt get it, but at the same time, i have no turbo kit either, but i have gonna find away to help him out somehow , i have pmed him and when he is ready to take care of this me and him will find away to settle this, i chould easly say ---- it cause i pulled my part and i shipped the stuff, like steve said, everyone knows that its a toss up bewteen if something gets there outside the United states when u ship it, If i really didnt care and i tryed to scam him i whould just say ---- it and not try to help him and not be posting right know, As for the reciet, i dont even keep reciets from anyhing i buy, most of the time i do my shipping after work , and cram any change and reciets in my work pants, and the compay that washes them gets a change treat, but i am gonna do what i can to make this right for him, and i sit here and saw now message me and we will work something out. and as far as the 450 and cam gears go, i have sold many cam gears 450 injectors, blah blah blah and stuff, tuner toys can vouche that he traded me 2 sets of 450's for my rims which later i sold, and i was still cool with this guy even when i got kicked off ebay, i got kicked off ebay cuase i was stupid and bid on something and then after i won, i didnt have the money for it, that was my fault, but not cuase i scewed buyers, as it stands i will help you out somehow to get this settled, even if you already have ur turbo kit, im sure there is soemthing i can work out wiht you cuase i do feel bad for what have happened with you, thanks

i dont really have anything important to contribute except the whole fact that little ---- like this makes me nervous about buying stuff online. even if its from a "trusted" site like HMT(no offense, i love all of you guys....this is like my home) but it comes to my attention that you could never be too carefull...this is a lesson for everyone. and i hope everything works out for you guys

In order for this to go either way, I would still like to see:

shipping reciepts
proof that Jake tried to sell (with a link) something that hondacrxflyer had in his possession at one time (with a link).

Other than that, I still see both sides unproven, which would lead to a hung jury.

Not taking sides or making waves, just stating my experience with Jake....

I did trade Jake two sets of 450s for a set of rims. Jake was up front about the condition of the rims, and they were completely as described. He even threw in a set of tires, and placed them outside his house for me to pick up since he was going to be gone during the only time I could drive down to pick stuff up. He totally trusted me to come pick up the tires/wheels while he was gone, also trusting me to leave the goods I had promised him.

My dealings with Jake have been exemplary.

when was the date you sold him the dsm injectors? I bought the turbokit from him to do a turbo conversion on my twin cam ZC crx. He only had the turbo and bov, so i needed DSM injectors and AEM camgears to complete my setup. I thought it would be great if i could win the items and ask the sellers to send to jake so he could post everything to me so as to save on postage. I sent him black top 450cc injectors and brand new pair of aem gears in Red. It was around september that i bought the injectors and camgears from ebay. I have prove in paypal reciepts that i specifically instructed the sellers to post them to Jake's address.

If you look at jake's past posts, scroll down and look at the october period. He tried to sell aem tru time camgears pair in red for 120plus dollars posted. A few post later he only asked for 90buck posted. WOW! 90bucks for a pair of AEM gears? Brand new and posted! Red infact! I've been watching the prices of aem gears on ebay for a long time before buying them and no way could i get them any cheaper than 160buck for a pair brand new those days. Dubious?

I don't think i'll need to prove much anymore about my stand. I am not someone who is vicious and want someone down like that. I've thought it over many times before making any accusations. Squaretrade, ebay and paypal has already declared jake as the party in the wrong. They have all emailed him but he didn't reply and has since banned him.

I can get all the reciepts posted up here, but that will reveal his address. Don't think it's a good thing to do now.

Jake, it's quite kind of you to finally reply to me now that i've made it open in the forums. YOu know i helped you get the ECU and exhaust manifold for your car, i paid for them, and after selling the turbo kit to me, collected my money, and despite the fact that i told you i've not recieved the turbokit, you can literally ignore my emails. Never really worried for me. YOu said you will go back to check with the post office, but you never came back to me. YOu just stopped replying. What is this? Don't you feel responsible for any sale you make? If i sold something to someone, and they didnt recieve it, i'll do my best to make sure the problem is resolved. YOu just delayed and delayed and finally just dissappeared! Only here will you reply to me. I have no choice mate, hell, i wouldn't even hear from you if i've not posted anything here.

Once again, if you want to turn back, just send my items to me and i'll be happy. I will put the matter behind me and we'll get on. I never want to do this. It's not good for me nor you.

On the subject of just the mailing of your turbo kit, do you think that the possibility exists that the post office could have lost it, and Jake really sent it? Cause I know I've lost some stuff through them. And if the post office did in fact lose the turbo kit, would you still think that Jake would still be responsible for it?

The other stuff like the cam gears and other parts is still very confusing, and I have no idea what to believe. I just wanted to throw you the above scenerio and see what your take on a situation like that would be.
Jake has personally pm'd me and told me that he really did ship your kit, but after it didn't arrive, he didn't know what to do. Could it be possible that the post office lost it, and what would you like for this to be resolved if that is the case?
Hopefully through more information we can come to a conclusion about all of this stuff. And if you find a post by Jake that you would like to referance to all of us, you can post a link. I'd like to see some of the evidence about the cam gears and the other parts as well. -Steve

rofl, once i see some reciepts or hard eveidence that jake sent it then ill believe him but, like hondacrxflyer said he's a good lier, sounds like a lier to me because all of a sudden after hondacrxflyer says the frauds/cops are involved he tries to cover his ass. Sounds like a big lie to me and what a concidence on the other parts he was trying to sell, gee trying to get rid of some eveidence before the cops come knocking at his door. Hondacrxflyer show the receipts that you have, it don't matter if Jakes address comes up anyways cause there are guys on this site that can basically get anyones address, we seen it before with Chingro for example.

Jake no one in the right mind throws away shipping receipts until the item gets there. Sounds like bullshit to me.

So one of you or both need to show a receipt or a like to the cam gears, etc... or this has become a worthless post...

this thread is definately not going anywhere. As much as I hate scammers and am willing to help the party who has been wronged, we need to see some evidence. Best to put up pictures of your paypal transaction, just delete or block out sensitive information like your informations and leave everything else there. Post up the threads and ebay auction... Make sure everything is in a timely ordered fashion.

If you dont post anything up, we wont believe you or have nothing to go on...

Everything I've ever shipped out whether is UPS, FedEx, or USPS, they've alway given me a lil piece of paper that says this box weighs this much and costs this much to ship to this zipcode.

And also it may just be me, but I seem to hold onto my receipts if I am shipping out $1000+ worth of stuff. Also being the idiot that I am, I tend to buy insurance if I know for a fact that the item I am sending out cost more than $100... but then again thats just me! (I know insurance doesnt work in this scenario since it was overseas)
