just go get it our of your garage and ship it to the guy! if i were to be liable for a $1000+ shipment, damn straight id keep receipts! Also, if you cannot provide proof the the police if/when they contact you.. your up ***** creek without a paddle

This thread is old.... still no evidence presented, with a couple somewhat possible stories. But one things for sure, there is a scammer among us. Either jake2001z001 or hondacrxflyer is lieing, two lost packages = lie, either he never sent them, or he sent them and hondacrxflyer is lying, and he actually got them (unlikely IMHO). Or the address could have been wrong and some lucky bloke is cruising a new turbo... for free.
Post the damn receipts, block out part of the sensitive info, it's easy to do, and then we can have some respect for someone.
As for lost shipping receipts, you must be absolutely stupid... I've shipped a ton of stuff, and if you are so careless to ship a bunch of stuff overseas worth over a grand and not save the prove, you deserve to pay restitution. You would also be able to go to the post office and get proof. They have you fill out a customs form to ship overseas, and I can bet in this state of emergency, they are not purging those anytime soon. Tell them you need proof of the customs form, and post it on here, otherwise I say the verdict is for hondacrxflyer.
