best theft systems

Re:best theft systems
this thread has gone from "how do I protect my precious car" to "check out my gun, bitch"
car theft isn't a big problem around here, my car has been broken into once and they just took the ashtray since my cd player sucks.

I live right in the middle of the ghetto, and no one has ever broken into my civic or tried to steal it... Look at the pics and you'll see why.... They have a 120% chance of something breaking/wearing out before they get to there "hide-out", hehe.
I like the master lock on the steering shaft trick ( theifs aren't going to see that coming, hehe ).
Also, I'm no car theif, but I installed car alarms for 3 years. Clifford, viper, and cheap-os too... I could hack though anyone of them in less than 30seconds ( getting in the door would be the problem for me, hehe ).
Alarms are kinda stupid. Good for remote starting and locking/unlocking your doors and rolling up/down your windows and popping the trunk, but not stopping a "REAL" car theif ( although its does chase away "joy riders" ).
Anything with a chip in the key or transpoder is a MAJOR PITA to steal !!! I know, I've had to by-pass a lot of them to install remote starts.. To be honest, I think by adding a remote start to a car with a chip/transponder key will make it MUCH easier to steal ( like my ford foucs with all the remote crap, would any of you guys wanna steal it for me ?? Hehe, that's a joke ( stupid 10 years in jail crime )).
Nothing can stop a flat-bed tow truck... cough cough benz-E55 owners..

First off Kyle, tec 9 is a piece of ----. I would much rather own a tec 22 (dubbed the scorpion). Good luck running anything but full metal jacket cartridged thru your tec 9, that thing will jam up hard core.
Many people own Rugers, but I personally find them a cheap gun and would rather buy a used S&W 5900 series for a couple hundred bucks then roll with a $300 Ruger. I find the out-of-the-box accuracy to be less then par with Ruger weapons.
Sig Sauers are the pimp ----. No denying it. I wish I could afford a P229 .40/.357 crossover. Glocks are okay, but DA trigger pulls get annoying, especially when you enjoy to double-tap
People either love glocks or hate them, the only one I really liked was the G23C model. Earlier G17s had a known defect with the sights falling off.
Kimber is an alright alternative to the 1911 market, but if you're gonna go that route, best bet would be to go full custom built one.. my dad used to work for wilson combat (I should have taken the gunsmitthing job there when they offered it to me ).
I like to keep it simple. Shortnose .38 special works well for everyday use and it has a 0% chance of jamming up on me.

who's hating on revolvers? if the low possibility of the bullet not firing and the fact that the shell stays with you and not on the floor for the cops to pick up is a bad thing then sign me up for a piece of ---- gun.
