i disagree, the only aspects of paint that are non taste are black is hard to see when the pigs are on your tail (note ground lifting relay in my ute wiring), and will cook you in the sun, and make rust take longer to set in. white will keep you cool in summer, rust quicker, and be boring as hell, and if you have an ozone hole, no, you dont, you just made it for us in nz, red isnt so good as it fades. mostly though, paint is pure taste.

engines on the other hand have specific strengths and weaknesses and flaws and features and design traits and parts that are suitable for boost and others that are not. it is not a taste thing like paint really at all. although, given a handful of near equally good engines, some will prefer one over another. i notice a trend on here to boost sohc engines so that the owner can say i did this with one camshaft how great thou art. who cares. either boost what you already have, or find a good thing to boost. the dude realises his auto is shitty and wants a second car to play with. hes not totally familar with all the models and their engine options (neither am i as they are all fwd, and i cant stand that) and asked for help from those that lurk here and do know what all the options are... its not a stupid question. b18 b16 h22 f22 zc D16 etc, and i'm no honda fan, there have to be more options than that... some of those flow well have lower comp and stronger rods/sleeves/studs/trannys, and some dont.

educate the fellow man or the website is near pointless...

watch sleep etc :

you must be god, i never talked to you, i think you did a bad job with the evolution of young male minds esp in the US of A. but under the age of about 20, everywhere really...

so is that an opinion or fact? my point exactly.... your going to get a wide variety of answers if you ask such a broad question.... thats what we have been saying the whole time....if he would have done some homework and new what type of car he wanted and asked a more general question he would have goten a better answer...i did about 3 months of reading through this site b4 i new what type of turbo i wanted and what fuel mang. i was going to use....

still, some honda motors are going to be shitty compared to others. name some, like this

dont use XXXYYYZZZ engine as it has weak flux capacitor tie down wires, and wont pass warp 9 without an H1E and 50psi on methanol and 12:1 compression.

or something more reasonable perhaps.

Let's be honest - they're all about the same.

Best years are 88-95, however (obd0-obd1).

If there was a "best", why doesn't everybody have it?

this type of question has unlimited number of answers....so what the point you are trying to make?
i could have said camero/crx/accord/civic/supra/mustang/240sx...so you see what im are talking about?...
