Cross drilling the rotors does nothing but look cool. sloting the rotors is only there to help heat up the pads and rotor faster and to vent of the vapors coming off the pads. Drilling and sloting rotors IS NOT FOR COOLING THEM. thats what the inside of the rotor is for. I like cobalt pads myself. id rather stuff my calipers with tampons than that EBC ----.

they are slotted. not cross drilled. like i said, breakl pads now adays are designed to not give off gases when they heat up like that. so there is no point unless thety are solid rotors, not hallow.

yes, they are slotted kain, you just said race cars arn't even slotted, and I clearly showed that they are.

and if new brake pads don't give off a gas, then why are those brakes slotted?

Kain, when did you become an engineer? Cross drilled rotors can be used on regular cars, it doesnt have to be a race car. They keep the rotors much cooler then blank disks and heat is a huge enemy on pads. #2 Cross drilled rotors only eat up pads when the company who made them does a crappy job and leaves a sharp chamfer. Ghetto D, i would just run some pbr or axxis pads.
