Just because the guy is a "mechanic" doesn't mean he is right.

he is the top mechanic, at a honda/ford dealership. he said that the powerstrokes that come in there and need major repairs about 85% have a K&n filter in them. would you chance it? this isn't just "some mechanic" this guy knows his ----.

Yeah, I would trust it since I've seen thousands of problem free diesels running K&N filters and I live in AZ which is as dusty and dirty as they come. No problems out here.

its not going to explode from running a k&n, Its not like it can suck up a ------ ground squirle. They just break in a little quicker, and were out a little faster :P
