I've had mechanics tell me Honda's blow head gaskets for no reason at 75,000 miles N/A, I've had mechanics tell me I need a whole new front suspension which will total over $800 when it was actually just some bad upper control arm bushings, I've had mechanics tell me I need a whole new motor when the timign belt was off a tooth. Just because the guy is a "mechanic" doesn't mean he is right. ;)

Yeah, I would trust it since I've seen thousands of problem free diesels running K&N filters and I live in AZ which is as dusty and dirty as they come. No problems out here. :-\

its not going to explode from running a k&n, Its not like it can suck up a ------ ground squirle. They just break in a little quicker, and were out a little faster :P
