my motor is perfectly fine thank you... the only thing that real management would get me now is more whp... as long as my af's are in the "safe" areas my motor is fine. you being a cavalier owner know that our rev limiters also equal death, but I lowered mine from a fuel cut at 6450 to a spark cut at 6100 with my msd

i also know how shitty the ecu's and management our in these cars and converted to a SDS EM4F standalone. regardless of if this is HMT or not, ppl on the board shun FMU's with favor emphasis through proper management through ecu programming.

managment will get you safe reliable power.

a FMU will get you a hole in the side of your block eventually.

I understand your point, it's just I cannot afford to go full standalone right now. Megasquirt is in the works. I know what management is capable of. It's not that I dont believe you or other people, it is what is working for me right now and available without a lot of downtime. (standalone or MS)
