Ever see good comrades about to break down on TV? How about on Pinks?

BG, KG, and JS from AZ know what I'm talking about.

Hate to be the old guy busting your balls, but I AM that old guy.

Mind you that cage was NOT up to spec for class, but it still held the driver safely.

That sucks for the guy with his CRX and the camaro for sure. Camaro guy though shouldn't have tried to peddle the car as much as he did. It is pretty obvious, even from just the audio that it was spinning quite a bit the whole run, should have aborted the run and 2 cars would still be together to race another day.

Looks like the whitfields old crx. Mid 10 sec car. In all my years at the track I have never seen that happen. Lots of vw's on their roofs though.

That's at Barona drag strip, usually a VERY well prepped track and extremely good traction... but I wasn't there that day so who knows

Sad when at the beginning of the day you can tell someone will be losing it eventually. When the first 3/4 of the cars catch nothing but spin for 2-3 gears, its a problem

you in san diego Pdub?
the track prep was bad, all of the racers were having traction issues, even slow civics.
