May want to pop one of those pistons out and take a close look at your ring lands..

That sucks. It doesn't look to me like anything MAJOR happened. Good luck.

Jeff, the z6 is the strongest headgasket? How swappable is it with a y8? I need to get the whole top end kit, but what about just ordering the whole z6 for my y8?

Looks like #3 was the dead hole?

llok athe the electrods of the plugs in the pics. they have a white chalky look to them. more like calcium. thats a sure fire sign of burning oil. oil contains alot of sulfur. thats how you cant tell.

I didn't have good light taking the pics. The pistons actually loook really good on top.
