You may want to consider using the Z6 headgasket as a replacement headgasket. Its the strongest D-series gasket in stock form, tripple layer metal, and fits perfectly on A6's Jeff I was at stock timing. What is the part number or the years that that the Z6 was used. |

there an oil burning issue in there. i got the pics. definately detonation in 1-2 #4 has a strange wear pattern on the thrust side of the cylinder wall.id say tear it down check your mail. motor has issues.,
