Default Auto Turbo Vs Manual Turbo

Yea so i did all this work on a 92 Accord (m/t) to get a turbo in there and after about 2 days with boost ---- blew, now my question for you is, i have a 94 ls integra (a/t) i was thinking about putting the turbo in there, but im not sure if the tranny would hold, or how well it would work in a a/t car, i know b18bs hold boost quite well, and i would only be at around 5 lbs, so whats the better idea, fix the motor on the accord, or just throw it into the teg?

2 days of boost and it blew? What psi of boost were u running? How many miles? Automatic trannys are gay, and your car will be boring to drive unless you go manual tranny.. Next time i'd be sure to get a good tune before you drive it too much.

your auto transmission wont take to much power. and ya wont be that fun to drive either. if its a money issue your not going to want to broken down cars. if money isnt a issue just wait to fix the accord.

Yea i was using the base map, but it was only at 5 lbs, and i wasnt beating the hell out of it either, the motor was new, but i had a friend take it apart to put new gaskets and berrings in it, ( flame on ) and i KNOW it was a stupid thing to do, cause he rushed it and i think he put the motor backtogether wrong, anyway, i can put the old motor back in, 160,000 miles on it, but wasnt beat on, and never fucked with, should i just put that back in, at 5 lbs, and get a good tune, and call it a day.

No i didn't and people on this site can vouch for that, i SHOULD have done it myself, and i should have bulit it up more, to withstand like 100000 hp, well more like 400, but still, to swap the old motor back in is gona cost me 700, cause i cant do it, and everyone i know who could do it, has there own ---- they got to work on, i dont even know if its worth the money, if its just gona blow again.
