I've heard good stuff about firefox... I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed! I just reformatted my entire computer so I can give a pretty good comparison with IE and Firefox. Firefox will rock IE.

I just switched to firefox last night. I just did the above "patch"... firefox does seem slow. :( Im using DSL

There's actually a file you can download that will do this ---- automatically. Dunno if it's as good as doing it manually, so what the hell I'll give it a try

Edit:

Some of the ---- is set really low, like the requests is set to like 8, but as soon as I change it and close out of firefox then go back into the config, it's right back to being set at 8..

I love firefox, except for this site.

If someone (usually it's only Aaron..lol) posts TONNES of pictures in a thread, firefox craps out. And it's only on HMT with Firefox.

I originally switched to Firefox because I was sick and tired of all the popups and trojans with IE, that and the about:blank issues.

I noticed mine does that too. For those rare threads I open my IE crap browser just to view them then im done, and its back to firefox ;)

wow this thread is from the dark ages. hm.... this thing still works. it makes things go hella fast. as far as i know i havent had any problems looking at my shitloadlarge posts on hmt with firefox.
