beer battering fries is a bit pointless.. yes I can make my own fries with the ceramic blade (Ming Tsai edition bitches ) but usually easier to just buy the cheap ones and season them after they come out.. if you buy the preseasoned ones it ***** up your oil.
I typically will use beer as much as I can when cooking.. chili, battering.. whatever. I even used some beer in cooking the red beans & rice tonight
Normally the food will take some time, prep time alone takes a while.. then my audience of hungry people will consume it in a matter of minutes and say "that was good, what was that?"
I eat food slow, and I don't really eat that much - I try and stay on the liquid diet
