I don't mind the no **** avatars thing. I disabled avatars and sigs earlier to make mobile browsing faster. It helps a little.
It just seems like a courtesy thing to not put it in your avatar, not sure what all the ranting is about from people.

The OG's of this site have come and gone, it's life. I agree with Josh, the noobs who act hard as ---- have no idea what this site was about, now I come here, reconize 3 or 4 names, the rest I don't ------ know.

If you're a white man, this is what you are. It doesn't even matter if your wife is black and you have an adopted child from India, or how many black friends you have, somehow you're going to end up being a racist according to how the media portrays the white man as "racist whities".
All of this is funny because the white man is the one that is stereotyped as being racist, which is hypocrisy at its best. It's racist to assume that white men are racists.
If you don't get offended by racial insults, then you're apparently racist too, but an actual racist would get offended by it. When you hear a certain word too much (I'm sure we've all heard "cracka" hundreds of times thanks to standup comedy) then you become desensitized to it.
Well, that and the words white people get called sound stupid or non-offending. "cracker" came from cracking whips. Indiana Jones cracked whips too, and he was a badass. "honkey" sounds like some kind of gigantic sandwich, and "white boy" makes you seem like the lone white kid in breakdance movies that stands out amongst the other races and white kids. Most people only really think of rednecks when they think of "white trash" so they don't get offended by it if they're not rednecks.

I think it's kinda selfish to only think of myself when it comes to visiting this site. I can look at all the ****, ****, -----, *** I want without a care in the world, but I have no kids and a GF that doesn't care. Does that mean the guy with the 3 young children shouldn't be able to visit the site if his kids or wife are in the house and could see random pictures of ***, ****, ****, and ----- flashing across the screen? I mean, is it that big of a deal?

doc, your a good man for taking away the **** in the avatar section, and by far your the most active member when it comes to user/moderator relationships as of right now.
there seems to be a mixed bag of loyalists who want to stick to the rough and tumble ways of hmt, and yet there are people who seem to mind.
my understanding is that if a thread that is purely based on **** should go into the **** section, but if someone simply puts a little bit of **** into a post its deemed to be slated for teh **** section. if the topic strictly going to be about ****, then yes. but if its a noob posting a hello thread, then i deem it a ok aslong as the trend doesnt continue throughout the whole entire thread.
